apache - Is mod_perl dead? -

It has been for a long time since it has actually been updated and it seems that its development was stopped in Apache 2.2 Are there. I am waiting for it to be available for Apache 2.4 for a very long time, but so far it has not happened.

I am trying to find an answer to an update (for 2014) its current state but I think there are very old posts in forums and mailing lists.

Mod_perl has actually been rock solid for me and my applications and I have complained that I can not go to Apache 2.4. Continues to work with Pearl 5.20, which is the most recent Pearl version at this moment.
