python - using postifx as backend for messaging system in django? -

I am creating a project in which the user will have the ability to communicate with each other through messages.

I came up with an idea that instead of writing the model, we should try to use postfix and mail, and then there will be inquiries from DB etc. The email on the server is similar to the server, and Python / Django
